Rajshekhar Nadar — Filmmaker, Mumbai
Rajshekhar Nadar is a Mumbai-based filmmaker working across music videos, fashion films
and narrative work — with a focus on mood, texture and emotion. He directs, shoots and
edits, usually all three on the same project.
He came up shooting music videos for the Mumbai hip-hop scene and has since moved between
independent narrative work and brand-led fashion films. Style is small, hands-on, and
cares most about how a piece feels — the colour, the cut, the negative space, the
silence between cues.
